Covers most everything you d want to cover in introducing high schoolers to effective Bible study Only issue I had was clarity about certain statements, but I understand that some clarity is lost in trying to be concise I really liked it and will employ it with students asap.

A wonderful primer on how to study the Bible, with a focus on teaching the reader so that he she might train student leaders to do so This goal is maybe a bit ambitious for high school students but would be perfect for college students And, frankly, the only barrier to it being effective in high school is the waking nightmare called youth ministry, which has quickened the emptying of churches, bolstered the consumer mentality among those that remain in churches, decreased Biblical literacy, and [...]

Bible Study A Students Guide by Jon Nielson This book was not what I expected, it was better I admit before I started this book I assumed it would be a dictation on various excerpts, versus, from the bible What I mean is I thought the book would explain how the author interprets various particular texts and why the author believes the text should be interpreted that way I thought that the author would then use the same interpreting method to interpret other versus so the reader would learn how t [...]
